Mac OS heavy environment, Slack, Google Workspace, SOC 2 Robert Half is looking for an IT Engineer professional to own and operate the entire internal IT environment. This is a high-impact role for someone who thrives in fast-paced startup environments, takes initiative, and enjoys building scalable processes from the ground up. As the sole owner of internal IT, you'll be responsible for everything from employee onboarding and device management to network infrastructure, security, vendor relationships, and compliance. You'll partner closely with leadership to ensure our systems remain secure, reliable, and ready to support company growth
Essential Duties:
Lead employee onboarding and offboarding, including device provisioning, account setup, access management, and asset recovery Provide Mac-focused end-user support for hardware, software, and application isssues Manage laptop lifecycle programs, inventory tracking, device security, and endpoint management Troubleshoot and resolve day-to-day technical issues across the organization Administer and maintain corporate networking, WiFi, cloud services, and collaboration tools. Manage conference room technology and AV systems to ensure seamless meetings and presentations. Oversee Google Workspace administration, including user management, security settings, and collaboration tools. Support and maintain cloud infrastructure within Google Cloud Platform (GCP). Own endpoint security, access controls, device compliance, and overall IT security posture. Maintain SOC 2 compliance and ensure the company remains audit-ready as it scales. Develop, document, and improve IT policies, procedures, and controls. Partner with leadership to identify and mitigate operational and security risks. Manage relationships with IT vendors and service providers. Evaluate new tools and technologies to improve operational efficiency. Support office technology, physical security systems, and visitor management platforms. Top Requirements 5+ years of experience in IT administration, IT management, or a similar role. Experience working in startup or high-growth environments. Strong experience managing Mac-based environments. Demonstrated ability to independently own and operate an organization's IT function. Experience developing IT processes, policies, and operational standards. Strong troubleshooting skills across hardware, software, networking, and cloud environments. Experience supporting both in-office and remote employees. Experience managing SOC 2 compliance programs and audit readiness.(nice to have) Work knowledge and administration experience with: Google workspace, Slack, Okta
