Full Job Description SUMMARY:
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to problem-solving assistance to users regarding the operation of computer software. Also provides basic project coordination and training for system upgrades, enhancements, and new implementations. The Help Desk Analyst reports directly to the Help Desk Manager.
JOB DUTIES
Provides excellent customer service at all times to internal customers. Answers helpdesk calls for business applications including practice management system, electronic prescribing system, chronic disease management system, and electronic health records. Routes productivity application (MS Office) and computer hardware applications to appropriate technical and management staff. Researches and advises status and ETA on specific work orders as requested. Interfaces with multiple departments to solve problems and improve process quality. Follows internal documentation and updates documentation as necessary. Updates software inventory as needed. Mobility device setup, IOS and Android Participates in special projects as assigned by IS Manager and/or IT Director.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS
Proficient at troubleshooting software issues. Familiarity with Microsoft Windows and Office and standard web tools. Excellent customer service skills, including through phone and email interactions. Strong organization skills and ability to prioritize tasks. Able to work under pressure in a positive, friendly and professional manner. Ability to work independently and as a team player with staff and volunteers. May require travel to sites/programs and special functions.
Job Requirements:
High School diploma or equivalent AA degree preferred. At least two years of helpdesk, application support, or application super-user experience. Information systems and/or customer service experience in health environment preferred. Vehicle transportation and ability to lift 50 lbs. is required.
