This is a Contract position suited for someone who is comfortable working with a range of computer systems, peripherals, and physical connectivity needs. The ideal candidate will bring hands-on experience with Dell Technologies and Apple devices while delivering dependable technical support in a detail-oriented setting.
Responsibilities:
Install, configure, and maintain desktop computers, laptops, monitors, and related hardware for end users. Diagnose hardware issues and perform repairs or component replacements to restore equipment to proper working order. Set up and organize cabling for workstations, peripherals, and other connected technology to ensure reliable performance. Provide technical support for Dell Technologies equipment and Apple devices, including initial setup and ongoing troubleshooting. Test associated hardware such as docking stations, keyboards, printers, and other peripherals to confirm full functionality. Track device conditions, completed service activities, and equipment needs to support accurate IT records. Assist with workstation deployments, equipment moves, and hardware refresh activities across the site. Coordinate with internal teams to resolve technical issues efficiently and minimize user downtime. Hands-on experience supporting computer hardware in a detail-oriented IT environment. Working knowledge of associated hardware, including common peripherals and workstation accessories. Practical experience with cable installation and maintaining organized physical device connections. Familiarity with Dell Technologies systems and hardware support procedures. Experience working with Apple devices, including setup and troubleshooting. Ability to identify, isolate, and resolve hardware-related issues efficiently. Strong communication skills and a service-oriented approach when assisting end users.
