IT Support Technician

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITY

To support the Network Administrator

KEY DUTIES

• The IT Support Technician will travel to Angel View locations to diagnose and troubleshoot in person as assigned.

Troubleshooting:

Critical thinking and analysis to find root causes and proposed solutions for issues with Windows workstations, printers, scanners, other peripherals, and various software products

Deployment:

Unboxing, preparation and deployment of hardware to end-users including Windows desktop computers and laptops, iPhones, iPads. Routine computer maintenance and cable management. Assist in Installation of network hardware including firewalls, switches and wireless access points Other duties as assigned: Assisting the Network Administrator to further Angel View's use of technology in pursuit of our mission to support adults and children with disabilities

REQUIREMENTS

Interest in technology and desire to learn Critical thinking and troubleshooting skills Ability to multitask with multiple issues at a time Attention to detail Excellent written and oral communication skills Ability to read and comprehend English language

EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

2 years experience installing computers and printers in a network environment. Experience with Windows computers and Microsoft Office 365 suite of products.

PHYSICAL CHARACTERISTICS

Must be able to lift/push/pulling up to 50 lbs Standing, walking, sitting for long periods of time Ability to work in confined work spaces and climb ladders May be required to climb stairs or ramps occasionally

Pay:

$25.00 per hour
