Full Job Description Job Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented IT Support Specialist to support a high-visibility government and military environment. The ideal candidate will provide technical support, maintain secure IT operations, and ensure compliance with organizational cybersecurity policies and standards. This role requires professionalism, strong troubleshooting skills, and the ability to support senior government civilians and military personnel in mission-critical environments.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage user accounts, permissions, and access controls across enterprise environments. Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network-related issues.
Support Microsoft enterprise technologies including:
Active Directory Microsoft Intune SharePoint Microsoft O365 Virtualized systems Assist with endpoint security, system hardening, and compliance initiatives. Support incident response activities and operational continuity efforts. Maintain and update technical documentation, standard operating procedures, and system inventories. Assist with audits, inspections, and implementation of organizational security policies and standards. Provide responsive IT support in a fast-paced, high-visibility environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
Comfortable working within government and military environments. Prior military or government civilian experience. Active SECRET Security Clearance. Experience supporting Microsoft O365 environments. Experience supporting NIPRNet and SIPRNet environments. Familiarity with COMSEC policies and security guide implementation. Experience supporting cybersecurity incident response activities. Security+ certification with at least 1 year of related IT experience. Ability to professionally support high-ranking government civilians and military personnel.
Desired Skills:
Strong communication and customer service skills. Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices and compliance standards. Experience working in secure or classified environments preferred. Self-motivated with strong attention to detail and documentation. Why Join Us?
