Field Support Technician

Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Field Technician to join our battery storage service team. As a Field Technician, you will be responsible for inspecting, maintaining, and repairing various systems and equipment in the field. This is a hands-on role that requires some technical expertise and the ability to work independently. Projects include utility-scale battery storage systems in the Central Valley, CA. Able to to travel to different states for other projects when needed.

Duties:

• Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair low voltage systems and field service equipment
• Perform maintenance tasks on mechanical and electrical systems
• Configure and troubleshoot computer networking and telephone systems
• Conduct site surveys to assess equipment needs and determine optimal installation locations
• Collaborate with team members to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget
• Provide technical support to customers and address any issues or concerns that arise

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous experience as a Field Technician or in a similar role preferred
• Strong mechanical knowledge and aptitude
• Proficiency in English ( Spanish and/or Korean a plus)
• Familiarity with low voltage systems, hand tools, and electrical components
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively
