$20hr - $25hr The Desktop Support Specialist will provide technical support for desktop systems, hardware, and applications across the organization. The role involves configuring, deploying, and maintaining computer systems while ensuring compliance with organizational standards. The position requires troubleshooting technical issues, supporting end users, and managing IT assets effectively.Requirement/Must Have:
1-3 years of experience in a technical support role. Experience with desktop operating systems and Microsoft Office Suite. Experience troubleshooting hardware including PCs, printers, and monitors. Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Experience with Mac operating systems including iOS devices. Valid driver s license and ability to travel to remote sites.Experience:
Experience with imaging and configuring desktop systems. Experience with IT asset inventory and lifecycle management. Experience working with service desk and vendor support teams.Responsibilities:
Configure and deploy new PCs using standard software and imaging tools. Reimage and redeploy systems ensuring data security. Maintain inventory and verify incoming equipment accuracy. Troubleshoot hardware and software issues for end users. Provide support for desktop applications and operating systems. Collaborate with IT teams for installations and technical support. Coordinate with vendors for hardware repairs and warranty services. Provide loaner equipment when necessary. Perform incident management and service requests. Support system upgrades, installations, and documentation. Monitor system tools and analyze trends to proactively manage systems. Ensure proper disposal of electronic waste according to policy.Should Have:
MCSE certification preferred.Skills:
Strong troubleshooting and technical support skills. Excellent communication and customer service skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently. Attention to detail and organizational skills.Qualification And Education:
