The engineer will have experience of successfully deploying IT projects in pharmaceutical GxP Lab environments
Main Responsibilities:
Understand System Requirements Design system solution consistent with Gilead Sciences Standards Install and Configure Applications per specifications Manage platform upgrades Author requirements documents (e.g., user, functional) Contribute to configuration specifications Author server Technical Requirements Specification Author / Update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) Contribute to testing procedures Assist with Script Execution Author Change Request (CR) Procure and build hardware Image and deploy systems Decommissioning Resolve issues escalated by sustain support desk. Experience required Experience working in pharmaceutical QC Lab environment, 2-3 years Experience Installing, configuring, and troubleshooting computer hardware, operating systems, applications, and network issues in a GxP and non GxP environment. 3-5 years Education Bachelor of Science in Computer Science or equivalent Preferred, recent Microsoft, CompTIA or ITIL certifications
