IT Technician

Job Summary We are seeking an experienced IT Technician for a contract opportunity in Van Nuys, CA within the aerospace and defense industry. This role is ideal for a hands-on technical support professional who enjoys solving problems, supporting end users, maintaining reliable IT systems, and contributing to a high-performance technology environment. The IT Technician will play a key role in keeping hardware, software, operating systems, networks, and peripheral devices running efficiently. Key Responsibilities

• Install, configure, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair computer hardware, software, operating systems, and peripheral equipment.
• Provide responsive technical support to end users, including guidance, training, issue resolution, and technology assistance.
• Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, network, and user-related technical problems through root-cause analysis and effective corrective action.
• Deploy new hardware, software, and technology solutions in alignment with organizational standards and established IT procedures.
• Perform preventive maintenance, routine servicing, system updates, and equipment checks to reduce downtime and extend asset life.
• Escalate complex technical issues to senior IT personnel while maintaining communication, tracking, and follow-through through resolution. Compensation and Benefits
• Pay range: $30.00 to $35.00 per hour.
