Contract Job Duties:
Configure and deploy new personal computers (PCs) using standard system images and deployment guides. Utilize imaging software to install and configure operating systems and standard applications. Reimage redeployed PCs and ensure that all previous user data is completely removed. Build and maintain complex desktop and laptop system images. Update hardware records and notify appropriate personnel of inventory database changes. Inventory incoming equipment and verify accuracy against purchase orders; report discrepancies to the supervisor. Manage the proper disposal of electronic waste in accordance with organizational policies. Provide end-user support for desktop operating systems and standard productivity applications such as the Microsoft Office Suite (including Outlook). Troubleshoot and support desktop hardware including PCs, monitors, printers, and other network-connected devices. Work with vendor technical support teams to diagnose and resolve hardware-related issues. Configure and provide temporary loaner equipment when immediate resolution is not possible. Collaborate with other IT support teams regarding hardware troubleshooting and installations, including printers and cabling. Perform incident management activities according to established IT service processes. Coordinate with the Service Desk to facilitate warranty repairs and third-party vendor repairs when needed. Manage daily support tickets, work requests, and problem reports to ensure timely resolution and minimal disruption to business operations.Job Requirements:
1-3 years of experience in a technical support or desktop support role. Ability to manage multiple tasks or projects simultaneously with strong organizational skills. Experience handling daily support requests, troubleshooting issues, and prioritizing workloads effectively. Strong problem-solving and customer service skills. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Experience supporting Mac operating systems and Apple devices (macOS, iOS, iPhone, iPad). Experience supporting enterprise desktop management tools or endpoint security platforms. Experience working in a structured IT service management environment.Schedule:
