JobOverview The Retail Support Specialist (RSS) delivers hands-on,frontline support to AT&T customers inside high-trafficnational retail environments. In this role, you will engagedirectly with customers and retail partners to resolve account,billing, device, and service concerns; often in fast-paced,high-volume situations. Success in this role requires strongcommunication skills, emotional resilience, comfort withtechnology, and the ability to remain calm, accurate, andprofessional in a dynamic retail setting.
Key Responsibilities :
Customer Support Provide professional, friendly, andsolution-focused support to AT&T customers inside nationalretail locations. Resolve inquiries related to billing, accountupdates, plan changes, device support, and service concerns.Troubleshoot wireless devices, network issues, and featurefunctionality. Operate effectively in high-volume retailenvironments, maintaining focus, professionalism, and servicequality during peak traffic and escalated situations. RetailPartner Support Act as the AT&T subject-matter expert forretail employees and third-party labor partners. Serve as theprimary AT&T representative for these partners, leadingin-store support for retail escalations. Proactively engage withstore leadership to address customer concerns, strengtheningpartnership alignment and ensuring a best-in-class customerexperience. Work Environment & Schedule Expectations This role isperformed in a retail environment and requires standing, walking,and engaging on the sales floor for up to 8 hours per day. Abilityto work flexible schedules, including evenings, weekends, andholidays, based on business needs. Comfort working in busy,customer-facing environments with frequent interaction andproblem-solving demands. Operational Excellence Navigate multiplesystems simultaneously while engaging with customers in real time.
Document all interactions thoroughly and accurately. Adhere tocompany policies, compliance requirements, and privacy standards.
Meet or exceed performance metrics, including quality, efficiency,and customer satisfaction scores. Execute and maintain approvedplanograms for mobile devices and signage Maintain inventoryaccuracy for display devices and fixtures Add, remove, andreposition phones, fixtures, and promotional material per planogramupdates Collaboration & Communication Work closely withcross-functional teams such as technical support, billing, fraud,customer care, and escalation agents. Share insights on recurringissues to improve processes and customer experience. Maintain apositive, professional demeanor during all interactions.
Requirements Required Skills & Qualifications Strong customerservice and communication skills. Ability to handle high-stress orescalated situations with professionalism. Proficient inmultitasking and navigating complex systems. Detail-oriented withstrong problem-solving abilities. Ability to work flexible hours,including evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed. PreferredQualifications Experience in wireless communications, retailcustomer service, or technical support Previous call center orretail support experience is a plus.
