IT Support Assistant

We are a multi-level senior living community seeking a dependable and motivated IT Helper / IT Support Assistant to join our team. This position will work directly alongside the IT Supervisor assisting with daily tasks, projects, resident support, and technology-related work orders throughout the facility. This is a hands-on position ideal for someone who enjoys troubleshooting, working with technology, and being part of a team-oriented environment.

Responsibilities Include:

Assisting residents with connecting devices to Wi-Fi Helping residents troubleshoot internal TV channel and connectivity issues Assisting with cable management and organization Mounting wireless access points (APs) Assisting with installation and wiring of network switches Adjusting and troubleshooting security cameras Running and troubleshooting low-voltage cabling Assisting with hanging and installing equipment racks Supporting general IT projects and work orders Using power tools safely and effectively when needed Assisting the Maintenance Department when necessary, as IT and Maintenance work closely together as a team

Qualifications:

Basic knowledge of networking, cabling, and IT systems preferred Experience with low-voltage wiring and cable troubleshooting is a plus Comfortable using hand tools and power tools Ability to work independently and follow direction Good communication and customer service skills, especially when assisting senior residents Reliable, professional, and team-oriented Ability to lift equipment and work on ladders when needed Why Choose Inland Christian Home?
