IT Systems Specialist

Our client, a manufacturing company specializing in advanced electronic components, is looking for a IT Systems Specialist to join their team in Camarillo, CA. This role supports the organization's IT infrastructure by maintaining systems, resolving helpdesk requests, managing user access, and assisting with network and hardware support across the facility.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage Microsoft Entra ID users and groups, Exchange Online mailboxes, and SharePoint permissions Assist senior IT administrators with system updates, backups, troubleshooting, and server maintenance Complete daily, weekly, and monthly IT tasks including backup validation and helpdesk ticket resolution Install, configure, and troubleshoot network devices such as printers, VOIP phones, and managed switches Deploy ethernet cabling from patch panels to workstations and network devices Configure VPN client software and support remote users Coordinate with HR and department managers on employee onboarding and offboarding processes Set up, configure, and maintain desktop workstations and IT asset inventory Configure and troubleshoot Android and iOS mobile devices Support IT service rollouts, decommissioning projects, and infrastructure updates Maintain documentation, inventory records, and training materials using Microsoft 365, Teams, and IT documentation tools Diagnose and maintain factory machine computers, including legacy Windows systems

Requirements:

Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or a related field Knowledge of data backup and recovery procedures and backup software best practices Experience with PowerShell or Python scripting for IT task automation preferred Relevant certifications such as Microsoft Certified Desktop Support Technician (MCDST), Microsoft 365 Fundamentals (MS-900), or Identity and Access Administrator (SC-300) are a plus Experience configuring Avaya VOIP desk phones preferred Experience supporting IT systems in a manufacturing environment preferred Strong troubleshooting, organizational, and communication skills Spanish language skills are a plus
