Job Description

Diagnostic Pathology Medical Group (DPMG) an independently owned, multispecialty pathology group, has been a leader in delivering quality services to hospitals, clinical laboratories, research institutions and other physician specialties for over 80 years. The Technical Support Analyst will assist the IT department in support operations and projects for both the central laboratory and administrative office, as well as hospital based laboratory staff. The Systems Analyst will be responsible for data analytics and reporting in the laboratory LIS (PowerPath) and other systems, as well as maintaining policies, procedures, and documentation for the department.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities :
Assist with Tier 1&2 support issues for internal business units and external associated affiliates. Includes, but not limited to first level support operations and occasional desktop support (may require local travel). Assist with managing group's IT Help Desk Ticketing System. Assist with authoring and maintaining IT policies and procedures. Utilize SQL & Crystal Reports to generate business analytics for various groups. Create and administer training programs and materials related to IT applications and cybersecurity. Assist with updates to internal and external company websites. Work as part of small project teams, as well as individual work efforts. May require occasional after hours support assistance. Additional duties as assigned by the Director of Information Systems.

Experience:
Education beyond high school desired. Requires a minimum of 2-4 years of progressive, hands-on technology and application support experience.
Computer Skills:
Must have strong knowledge of: Windows operating systems Microsoft Office End user and phone support skills Preferred but not required: Microsoft SQL query language and Crystal Reports Medical EMR/LIS experience
Other Skills and Abilities:
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and in writing, in person, and via phone with all levels of staff Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills Ability to develop and implement technical standards, procedures, and guidelines Self-motivated, able to prioritize, meet deadlines, and manage changing priorities Desire to learn new skills and abilities Strong attention to detail required This position is full-time on-site.
