Mid Senior (5 10 years) ________________________________________ Role Overview Client is seeking a Lab Support IT Engineer to provide hands on IT and technical support within pharmaceutical and biotech laboratory environments. The ideal candidate will support lab systems, instruments, applications, and infrastructure while ensuring compliance with regulated industry standards. ________________________________________ Key Responsibilities Provide on site IT support for laboratory systems, applications, and hardware Support Lab IT environments including servers, workstations, instruments, and network connectivity Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to lab instruments, applications, and data systems Work with scientists, lab technicians, and research teams to ensure uninterrupted lab operations Ensure compliance with GxP, FDA, and data integrity regulations Assist with system validation, documentation, and audit support Coordinate with infrastructure, security, and application teams for upgrades and maintenance Manage incident, problem, and change requests through ITSM tools ________________________________________ Required Skills Strong experience as an IT Lab Support / Lab Systems Engineer Hands on support experience in Pharma or Biotech environments Knowledge of laboratory informatics systems (LIMS, ELN, CDS preferred) Experience supporting Windows/Linux systems, networking, and peripherals Understanding of GxP, FDA 21 CFR Part 11, and validation processes Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills ________________________________________ Preferred / Nice to Have Experience with chromatography, sequencing, or analytical lab instruments Exposure to automation systems or scientific software platforms ITIL certification or familiarity with ITSM processes ________________________________________ Desired Candidate Profile Strong customer facing skills with lab personnel Detail oriented and compliance driven mindset Ability to work independently in a regulated, onsite lab environment
