That's why we're looking for a savvy, professional Desktop Support Associate to join our amazing team at Level Up MSP. In this important service support role, you'll be our point person for any number of the critical services we provide. Do you enjoy traveling to client locations? Our proprietary processes for onboarding, maintenance, and strategic vision enable our clients to grow their business while effectively managing and protecting their computer, network, and data.
Job Responsibilities:
Preparing new desktops and laptops - You will be installing/configuring Windows, line of business applications, email, printers, etc. Once the equipment is ready, you will coordinate with the end user and deliver/setup equipment Onboard new users - You will create new users, configure desktops/laptops to specifications, and possibly train the user, as needed. Responsible for Level 1 help desk tickets Traveling to client location to assist our help desk team, as needed Perform other appropriate duties and responsibilities as assigned by the
Service Desk Manager Accountability/KPI's:
Log a minimum of 30 billable service hours per week Earn client and staff satisfaction on a regular and ongoing basis. Satisfactorily achieve ongoing targets, goals, and objectives as set by the Service Desk Manager Adhere to the company's high standards of completing tasks in a timely manner, accurately, and efficiently Demonstrate ability to follow detailed instructions with a high degree of accuracy
Competencies:
Technical skill relevant to technologies supported (ongoing) Strong organizational and coordination skills Excellent communication abilities for effective client and team interactions Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
Qualifications:
Prefer a minimum of 1 years of installing Windows and basic end user support Available to work in the evenings and/or weekends, as required. It is estimated to be about 10-20% of the time Good work ethics and strong personal core values Ability to take, interpret, and follow detailed instructions A commitment towards undertaking duties efficiently with strong attention to detail Strong prioritizing, task management, and multi-tasking skills Strong problem-solving and self-learning skills Valid driver's license and ability to get to and from work reliably
