Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a System Development and Support Engineer II to join our Global Manufacturing IT team. This role will focus on supporting and developing Automation, MES (Manufacturing Execution System), and manufacturing-related applications to ensure smooth production operations and continuous system improvements. Key Responsibilities Develop, implement, maintain, and support manufacturing and automation applications. Collaborate with business users to gather requirements and define system specifications. Ensure application uptime and reliability for manufacturing operations. Monitor application performance and drive continuous improvements. Troubleshoot application and database issues. Participate in technology research, evaluation, and implementation projects. Support system integrations and manufacturing IT initiatives. Required Qualifications Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. 3-5 years of software development experience, preferably in a multinational company (MNC). Strong knowledge of system analysis, software development, and application support. Extensive experience with SQL queries, database design, and troubleshooting. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and project coordination skills. Experience working in a manufacturing environment, preferably electronics manufacturing. Preferred Qualifications Experience with Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES). Knowledge of equipment integration, transaction automation, and data integration. Familiarity with Java, Linux, AS400, and Data Integration Services. Experience with AI/ML technologies is a plus.
