Role:
We are seeking an operations-minded, technically sharp Senior Customer Solutions Engineer to help launch and support our new Universal Commerce Protocol (UCP) ecosystem. This role sits perfectly at the intersection of technical problem-solving and operational execution. You will be instrumental in enabling agentic commerce experiences while acting as the primary technical point of contact for our integration partners. If you love debugging technical integration issues, diving deep into API payloads, and building standard operating procedures (SOPs) from the ground up—all while staying close to daily queue operations—this role is for you.
What You'll Do:
Technical Support & Queue Ownership:
Manage and resolve a daily queue of complex technical support tickets, ensuring integration partners receive clear, timely, and professional guidance.
API & Code Troubleshooting:
Read, analyze, and debug partner integrations against protocol specifications. You won't write code from scratch, but you will analyze Java, SQL queries, and standard API payloads to pinpoint errors.
Operational Excellence:
Identify process gaps, draft robust Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and build out internal knowledge bases to scale the incubation support team.
Partner Communication:
Translate complex technical errors into clear, professional, structured emails and documentation for merchant partners.
What We Are Looking For:
The Right Mindset:
You genuinely enjoy day-to-day ticket handling and operational support. This is not a pure software development or high-level abstract program management role.
Commerce Background:
A solid foundation in transactional operations. Experience in retail e-commerce is highly preferred, but broader commerce domains (food ordering apps, ride-sharing, flight/hotel booking engines) are welcome.
Tech-Light Capabilities:
Strong proficiency in standard API integration debugging and working knowledge of Java and SQL.
Exceptional Communication:
Top-tier written and verbal communication skills; ability to maintain a highly professional client-facing presence.
Bonus Points:
Prior experience with Catalog and Feed Management systems.
Pay:
$100.00 - $105.00 per hour
