We are seeking a customer-focused and technically skilled Help Desk Technician I to provide frontline IT support to employees across multiple departments and locations. This position is an on-site role based in Denver, Colorado. Position Summary The Help Desk Technician I serves as the first point of contact for end users experiencing technical issues. This role is responsible for troubleshooting hardware, software, and network-related problems, managing help desk tickets, supporting Microsoft 365 and Azure user accounts, and ensuring employees have the tools and resources needed to work efficiently. The ideal candidate is organized, service-oriented, and capable of working independently while escalating complex issues to higher-level support when appropriate. Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesTechnical Support
  • Provide first-level support for desktop computers, laptops, printers, mobile devices, and peripheral equipment.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve common hardware and software issues.
  • Respond to support requests via ticketing system, phone, email, and in person.
  • Log, prioritize, track, and document help desk tickets to ensure timely resolution. User Account Administration
  • Create and maintain user accounts in Microsoft 365, Azure Active Directory, and other business applications.
  • Perform password resets and basic access management.
  • Configure user permissions and assist with onboarding and offboarding processes. Device Deployment and Setup
  • Install, configure, and maintain desktops, laptops, monitors, printers, and other IT equipment.
  • Prepare workstations and devices for new employees.
  • Install and update software applications according to company standards.
  • Provide introductory training and support on company systems and technology tools. Network and Connectivity Support
  • Diagnose and resolve basic LAN and Wi-Fi connectivity issues.
  • Assist with troubleshooting network outages and printer connectivity problems.
  • Escalate advanced network issues to higher-level IT support. Documentation and Process Improvement
  • Create and maintain technical documentation and knowledge base articles.
  • Document solutions and procedures to improve support efficiency.
  • Assist with inventory management of IT equipment and supplies. Escalation and Collaboration
  • Recognize issues requiring advanced technical expertise and escalate appropriately.
  • Collaborate with Tier II support and external vendors to resolve complex problems.
  • Support IT projects and technology initiatives as assigned. QualificationsRequired Qualifications
  • Minimum of two (2) years of experience in desktop support, help desk, or a similar technical support role.
  • Working knowledge of Windows operating systems and Microsoft 365 applications.
  • Experience troubleshooting PCs, printers, and peripheral devices.
  • Strong customer service and communication skills.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and work independently.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
  • Authorization to work in the United States. Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience supporting Microsoft 365 and Azure Active Directory environments.
  • Knowledge of TCP/IP networking, LAN/WAN concepts, and Wi-Fi troubleshooting.
  • Experience working in a warehouse, manufacturing, or distribution environment.
  • Familiarity with ticketing systems and remote support tools. Education and Certifications Preferred Certifications

Microsoft Certified:
Modern Desktop Administrator Associate
  • Microsoft Azure Fundamentals A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field may be considered in lieu of certifications or equivalent experience. Physical Requirements
  • Ability to travel between nearby company locations as needed.
  • Ability to load, unload, and transport computer equipment weighing up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to sit, stand, bend, and move throughout office and warehouse environments.
