You belong here!Position Purpose:
Provide technical support for district computers, including workstations and printers and audio-visual equipment. May be responsible for setup, maintenance, diagnosis, and repair of workstations; and, provide assistance in operating computers and utilizing network functions.Essential Duties:
Provide technical assistance, solutions, and support to computer users and school staff. Installation, maintenance, and support of computer hardware and application software, including operating systems, electronic mail, Microsoft Office, and curriculum-specific software. May assist in research and evaluate hardware and software options based on the needs of the district. Update and maintain building inventory using the district inventory system. Collect, prepare and record outdated equipment for disposal. Maintain and coordinate technology inventory, help requests, databases maintained by ITS, including inventory and work orders.Education/Certification:
High school diploma or equivalent, plus post-secondary courses in microcomputer, computer software, and hardware equivalent to one year of college. Criminal background check required for hire.Experience:
One year and up to and including two years of experience in database administration, computer hardware, software, and basic knowledge of networking. Salary Grade 6 minimum $22.98 per hour Work hours: 40 hours per weekWork Calendar:
