ABOUT THE ROLE
We are looking for an Associate IT Service Desk Technician who will administer all aspects of GILLIG's end user profile, email, workstation, phone and installed applications. They will assist with Technical Support and Senior System Administration staff problems/issues that have been raised to second-tier support. Under direct supervision, they serve as first point of contact for technical issues and questions as well as users needing technical support. This is an on-site, temporary, part-time (20 hours) position located in our Loveland, Colorado office and reports to the Senior Manager of
IT. IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL
Maintain and Install workstations, ensuring maximum uptime with minimal rework Create and maintain user profiles in Active Directory and application repositories Create and maintain accurate knowledge base for problem resolution Maintain and close IT Tickets within target time and follow up to ensure issues are completely resolved Install and maintain applications Ensure sensitive information is secured Provide feedback and ideas on improving IT Services
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum 1 year of Service Desk experience BA/BS in Computer Science or related field (preferred) Good communication skills Customer Service oriented Calm under pressure Proficiency in English (both verbal and written) Ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues Good understanding of office applications, computer systems, network systems, telecommunication systems and mobile devices Working knowledge of application security, understanding of vulnerabilities and countermeasures
WORK ENVIRONMENT
Ability to lift 25 lbs. Prolonged periods of sitting/standing at a desk and working on a computer Regularly required to sit, stand, and walk and occasionally kneel or squat The ideal candidate must be able to complete all physical requirements of the job with or without reasonable accommodation Must be able to navigate manufacturing environment, comfortable around heavy machinery, tools, etc. Must be able to wear Personal Protective Equipment, (i.e. safety glasses, bump caps, hearing protection, etc.) Standard start time: 6:30 AM MT (negotiable)
EXPECTED COMPENSATION
$21.00 - $29.00/hour Pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job classification, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements dependent on the position offered.
