Duties Develop, deploy, and manage virtualization environments using VMware and other hypervisor platforms to ensure scalable and reliable IT infrastructure. Design and implement cloud solutions utilizing AWS and Azure, including configuring virtual networks, storage, and computing resources. Maintain and support operating systems such as Windows, Linux, and UNIX, ensuring high availability and security. Automate routine tasks through scripting languages like Bash (Unix shell), Python, Shell Scripting, and APIs to improve efficiency. Collaborate within Agile teams to plan, develop, test, and deploy software applications following SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle) best practices. Manage databases including SQL and Oracle, ensuring data integrity, performance tuning, and backup strategies. Configure secure VPN connections for remote access while maintaining compliance with security policies. Support DevOps initiatives by integrating automation tools and continuous integration/continuous deployment pipelines. Troubleshoot hardware/software issues related to computer management systems and provide timely resolutions. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field with a strong foundation in IT principles. Proven experience with VMware virtualization platforms and managing complex IT infrastructure environments. Hands-on knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS and Azure for deploying scalable solutions. Proficiency in operating systems including Windows, Linux, and UNIX environments. Strong scripting skills in Bash (Unix shell), Python, Shell Scripting, with experience creating automation scripts for system management. Familiarity with SDLC methodologies within Agile frameworks to support software development projects. Experience working with SQL databases (SQL Server) and Oracle database management systems. Knowledge of networking concepts including VPN configuration and API integrations for system interoperability. Understanding of DevOps practices including CI/CD pipelines for streamlined deployment processes. Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze system issues quickly and effectively resolve them.
