A client of Innova Solutions is immediately hiring a Field Support Technician Position type: Fulltime - Contract role

Connecticut As a Field Support Technician, you will: Responsible for overseeing daily installations, delivery, and deployment of technical resources. Responsible for maintaining a strong service-oriented environment focused on problem prediction, detection, and resolution. Responsible for documenting issues, creating action plans, ensuring follow-up, and escalating when necessary. Responsible for planning and tracking projects, allocating resources, and delegating tasks. Responsible for installing and servicing low-voltage cabling (Cat3, Cat5, Cat5e, Cat6, fiber optic). Responsible for diagnosing and repairing cabling infrastructure systems. Responsible for physically installing, configuring, and testing switches, routers, firewalls, and other assets. Responsible for completing complex Move, Add, Change requests within service levels. Responsible for providing break-fix services for network infrastructure. Responsible for installing and maintaining wireless routers, antennas, and related infrastructure. Responsible for performing routine checks, clean-ups, and optimization of network closets. Responsible for responding to urgent client concerns during or after hours. Responsible for completing reports on billing, payroll, work orders, and SLAs. Responsible for coordinating with project managers, Smart Hands, and other support teams.
The ideal candidate will have:
Driver's license and reliable vehicle (able to carry a 6-foot ladder). Smartphone for email and ticketing system access.
Basic tools:
Cabling and technician tools. Office 365 knowledge: Word, Excel, email usage. Cable testers, fiber testers, communications closets. Safely lift heavy objects. Cable patching, 66/110 Block cross-connect, IP phones. Explain technical issues clearly to customers.
Experience:
5 years in data communications.
Education:
High school diploma or equivalent. Preferred Skills & Qualifications Cisco knowledge: Phones, switches, routers.
Networking expertise:
Local and wide area networking. Ability to interpret customer issues and facilitate resolutions. Strong ability to interface between associates and management. Qualified candidates should

PAY RANGE AND BENEFITS
Pay Range•: Between $25 - $27 per hour •Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
