Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and proactive IT Support Specialist to join our technology team! Duties Provide comprehensive technical support to end-users across various departments, addressing hardware, software, and network issues promptly and effectively Troubleshoot and resolve software problems related to operating systems such as Windows, macOS, and Linux, ensuring minimal downtime Manage computer hardware including desktops, laptops, mobile devices, printers, and peripherals to optimize performance and reliability Maintain and support IT infrastructure components such as servers (Windows Server), Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, VPNs, firewalls (including Meraki), and LAN/WAN networks Assist with computer management tasks using tools like SCCM (System Center Configuration Manager), GPO (Group Policy Objects), and BMC Remedy for ticketing and system updates Support network administration activities including TCP/IP configuration, DNS management, TCP troubleshooting, and network security measures Use help desk platforms such as ServiceNow or Jira to document issues, track resolutions, and communicate effectively with users Collaborate with team members on projects involving network upgrades, security enhancements like firewall configurations, and system migrations Skills Strong technical support skills with a focus on troubleshooting hardware and software issues efficiently Expertise in software troubleshooting across multiple operating systems including Windows, macOS, and Linux Solid understanding of computer networking concepts such as TCP/IP protocols, DNS management, LAN/WAN architecture, VPNs, firewalls (e.g., Meraki), and network security best practices Proficiency in managing computer hardware components and performing desktop support tasks in a fast-paced environment Experience with IT support tools including SCCM for device management and BMC Remedy or ServiceNow for ticketing systems Knowledge of Active Directory administration for user account management and permissions setup Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite applications for end-user support Ability to analyze complex technical issues quickly using strong analysis skills to identify root causes Excellent communication skills to explain technical concepts clearly to non-technical users Experience supporting mobile devices and managing operating systems such as Windows Server environments or Linux-based systems Join our team as an IT Support Specialist where your technical expertise will directly impact our operational excellence!
