The Person This role will be the first line support for all on-site IT related issues. The postholder will provide hardware and software support services, including the installation, repair, upgrade and troubleshooting to end users. Working alongside the remote-based IT team, this position is extremely varied and will require a high level of customer service to support the end users. It is essential that you are a self-starter and can work as part of a team and able to use their own initiative. Experience Essential Good overall knowledge of Microsoft networking & infrastructure IT Support 2 years+ Server 2012-22 Admin (AD, DNS, DHCP Etc) 2 years+ Good General Hands-on Knowledge Good Hardware Knowledge Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities
  • Promote a positive, participative, and proactive EHS culture throughout the site
  • Provide support to end users for computer, application, system, device, access, telephone, and hardware issues
  • Identify, research, and resolve technical problems
  • Responds to phone, email, and on-line requests for assistance
  • Prioritise, document, track, and monitor requests in applicable systems and tools
  • Escalate complex problems as appropriate
  • Test and install computer systems and software
  • May train, coach, or assist other employees
  • Keeps clients informed of problems, issues, and resolutions
  • May provide front line support for local site needs
  • Responsible for the maintenance and efficiency of the site telephony system
  • Responsible for the maintenance of the site CCTV system
  • Any other reasonable request as determined by the business Advantageous

TIA A+, ITIL
Foundation, and/or Microsoft 365 certification(s) The Role The role will primarily focus on:
  • Supporting end users.

  • Assisting with site-based projects.
