Job Description Below TITLE :
Computer Repair Technician
QUALIFICATIONS
: 2+ Years' experience troubleshooting PC hardware and software problems. Knowledge of computer troubleshooting techniques. Experience installing and supporting a Microsoft Windows environment. Experience supporting and troubleshooting the Google Suite for Education, including the Administrative Console, preferred. Experience supporting Chromebook and iPad hardware and software preferred. Experience installing peripherals, including driver configuration and software. Ability to lift approximately 35 pounds and carry short distances. A valid US driver's license, and reliable transportation to travel between buildings. Microsoft and/or Comptia (A+) certification preferred. Familiarity with and experience supporting security applications, such as Securly and GoGuardian, preferred.
REPORTS TO
: Director of Instructional Technology
JOB GOAL
: To assist the director in the configuration, maintenance, and repair of all end-user technology.
Performance:
Setup, repair, and maintain end-user computer hardware, software, and peripherals throughout the school district. Replace faulty components of computers and computer peripherals such as printers. Assist the instructional staff with their use of technology. Work with suppliers or contractual services that support repair activities. Assist with the maintenance of the district computer-related equipment inventory. Perform other duties as directed by supervisor.
TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT
: Non-affiliated, full-time position with salary to be established by the Board of Education.

: Performance of this position will be evaluated annually in accordance with Board policy on evaluation of personnel.
