IT Help Desk Intern (Summer)

Overview:

A large, multi‑office professional services firm in Connecticut is launching a paid summer internship for college students interested in IT support and infrastructure. This is a hands‑on, on‑site role focused on learning IT fundamentals through real‑world support work.

What You'll Be Doing:

Provide Level 1 help desk support Triage and resolve support tickets Answer and route incoming IT calls Assist with walk‑up technical issues Support video conferencing and meeting setups Help document processes and build knowledge resources Learn core IT protocols and troubleshooting techniques

What We're Looking For:

College junior or senior (or recent graduate) Hands‑on IT experience through campus or departmental roles Strong communication and customer service skills Willingness to learn and take feedback Comfortable working on‑site in a professional office setting

Location:

Waterbury, CT (on‑site only) Local candidates strongly preferred

Schedule & Duration:

Summer internship (~3 months) 20–30 hours per week 4‑day work week preferred

Compensation:

$18-$22/hr. (hourly – depending on experience)
