Job Description

Job Overview XiJet designs and manufactures a line of high-speed industrial inkjet print systems for sale to print production facilities worldwide. We are a small Engineering and Manufacturing team that is seeking a Hardware Technical Support / Field Service Specialist to build and ship our electro-mechanical products, support our customers, and maintain our demo/test equipment. Duties Customer technical support Field service Industrial product assembly, testing, repair Assembly of electromechanical subsystems, wire harnesses Packing/shipping of products Inventory management Engineering support Providing applications expertise Print sample making Product installation and training Trade show setup Support demo equipment Some travel is required
QUALIFICATIONS
Education - Minimum High School Diploma / GED with relevant technical training or hands-on certifications. Bachelor's or Associate's degree preferred. Work Experience 2+ years of experience with hardware technical support and/or industrial product assembly. Technical Skills Strong foundational knowledge of AC/DC theory and industrial control components, including wire harnesses, solenoids, relays and sensors Ability to read schematics and wiring diagrams Proficiency with computers; Comfortable working with Microsoft Excel Soft Skills Excellent problem-solving skills Ability to multitask and work to tight deadlines Strong attention to detail, data entry accuracy Excellent communication skills, spelling, grammar Pleasant attitude when dealing with customers Willingness to do whatever is needed and wear many hats This role is ideal for individuals eager to grow their expertise within a vibrant, high-tech manufacturing environment.
