Job Description:

THIS IS NOT A REMOTE PSOTION AND REQUIRES 100

% ON SITE! The it Staff member is responsible for maintaining the organization's computer system, networks ,and hardware. This role ensure smooth daily operations by providing technical support, troubleshooting issues, and assisting employees with technology-related needs.

KEY RESPONSABILITIES

Installing and con?guring computer hardware, software, systems, networks, printers, scanners, mobile phones, among other IT devices Monitoring and maintaining computer systems and networks, including backups, and other IT devices such as security cameras, alarms, access control, UPS, etc. Responding in a timely manner to service issue sand requests Providing technical support and training across the company (including MPA) Setting up accounts for new users. Create user guides and manuals and provide training to staff on new systems. Purchasing efficient and cost-effective technological equipment and software Repairing and replacing equipment as necessary. Keeping abreast of technology trend sand development, and testing new technology Devising and establishing IT policies and systems to implement and maintain security controls Planning and overseeing projects by coordinating with developers to build and implement technology solutions (e.g., Net at Work, ScanForce, SPS, ASCI, AI) Communicating with all departments to understand their requirements Revising existing systems and suggesting improvements Designing efficient IT systems to meet business and technology needs Support cybersecurity efforts, including antivirus and data protection measures. Inventory Management for IT related devices.

OTHER RESPONSABILITIES

Other IT related projects and/or tasks as Management requests within reason. Assist in deploying and maintaining AI-based applications or integrations. Analize system data using AI tools to identify trends, issues and optimization opportunities. Respond request and inquires from our headquarters, Makita Japan.

REQUIERMENT AND SKILLS

Fluent in English and Spanish Work experience as IT coordinator or similar role over 2+ years Experience in project management Familiarity with data analysis, APIs and System integrations., AI tools Excellent organizational and coordination abilities A team player with excellent communication skills Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Solid knowledge of IT systems and applications Punctuality Website Development

QUALIFICATIONS

BSc/BA in Information Technology or Computer Science is preferred, (or equivalent experience) 2 years+ experience in IT support, systems administration, or similar role. Pro?ciency in computer hardware, software, networking and troubleshooting. Familiarity with AI tools, machine learning basics, or automation platforms. Experience with hardware installation and maintenance (Understanding of TCP/IPprotocols and LAN/WANcon?guration) (Certi?cation (CompTIA Network+, CompTIA Security+ etc.) is a plus)
