Job Description

IT Help Desk Technician - Windows 11 Migration Project We are seeking an IT Help Desk Technician to support a Windows 11 migration project involving approximately 130 endpoints. This role is responsible for upgrading desktops and laptops, performing device imaging, troubleshooting deployment issues, and ensuring a smooth transition with minimal business disruption.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform Windows 10 to Windows 11 upgrades and system imaging Configure devices, install applications, and join systems to Active Directory/Azure AD Back up user data and verify device compatibility prior to migration Validate system functionality, user profiles, printers, VPNs, and applications post-migration Troubleshoot upgrade failures and provide end-user support Document work in ticketing systems and provide project status updates Coordinate with users and IT teams to schedule and complete migrations
Requirements:
Experience with Windows OS deployments and desktop support Knowledge of Active Directory, Azure AD, SCCM, Intune, or MDT Strong troubleshooting and basic networking skills Experience with imaging, patching, and endpoint management Excellent communication and documentation skills

$27.00 - $30.00 per hour
