ABOUT THE ROLE
VoiceCentral is looking for a knowledgeable, customer-focused Technical Support Specialist to own our help desk. Our customers count on us to keep their business phone systems running, and we need someone who can answer the call, solve the problem, and follow through until everything is working the way it should. If you know AT&T Office@Hand / RingCentral inside and out and take real pride in making customers feel taken care of, we want to hear from you.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
Be the first point of contact for inbound support calls — answer knowledgeably and resolve issues on the first call whenever possible Make program and configuration changes to customer accounts quickly and accurately within the AT&T Office@Hand (OAH) portal Set up and troubleshoot call forwarding Diagnose and fix fax issues Investigate and resolve call quality problems (dropped calls, static, latency, jitter) Keep customers informed throughout — clear communication on status and next steps Work closely with the rest of our support team to get customers fully resolved Follow up after every fix to confirm the issue is fully resolved and the customer is satisfied Log, track, and resolve support tickets in Zendesk, documenting all issues, resolutions, and customer interactions
WHAT YOU NEED
Hands-on experience with AT&T Office@Hand — this is a must. RingCentral knowledge is also helpful. Zendesk experience — this is our ticketing system Strong troubleshooting skills with VoIP / cloud phone systems Excellent phone presence and communication skills A genuine commitment to follow-through — a ticket isn't closed until the customer confirms it's working Ability to juggle multiple issues and prioritize calmly under pressure Experienced in a technical support / help desk role (telecom or UCaaS a plus)
NICE TO HAVE
Networking basics (routers, firewalls, QoS) as they relate to call quality Experience supporting small-to-midsize business customers
