SERVICES, Days, On-site, Baptist Medical Center The Technical Field Support Specialist involves troubleshooting and resolving technical issues in collaboration with network services, software systems engineering, and application development teams. The specialist applies technical knowledge and follows standard operating procedures to ensure reliable operation and service delivery. This individual will work to deliver exceptional technical support and customer service while collaborating with healthcare professionals to optimize system workflows across the organization. This customer-focused role combines technical expertise with healthcare knowledge to ensure the reliable operation of critical clinical and business technologies. This position requires strong analytical skills, technical expertise, and effective communication to support critical healthcare technology systems. The Sr. Technical Field Support Specialist's responsibilities include: Provides on-site technical support to the organization's mobile healthcare technology units. Collaborates with network services, software systems engineering and/or application development in order to restore service and/or identify problems. Requires full proficiency in a range of analytical or technical processes gained through training and considerable on-the-job experience. Completes a variety of atypical assignments. Works within defined processes and procedures and may help determine the appropriate approach for new assignments. Works with a limited degree of supervision with oversight focused only on complex new assignments. Acts as an informal resource for colleagues with less experience.Experience:
5+ years of experience providing hands-on technical field support, desktop support, or IT customer support services in a healthcare or enterprise environment preferred Experience troubleshooting hardware, software, mobile devices, printers, peripherals, and network connectivity issues in a fast-paced clinical environment preferred Strong knowledge of Microsoft operating systems, Microsoft 365 applications, Active Directory, device imaging, and endpoint management tools preferred Experience supporting clinical applications, healthcare technologies, and mobile healthcare units while working directly with physicians, nurses, and operational teams preferred Demonstrated ability to collaborate with network services, systems engineering, application teams, and vendors to resolve complex technical issues and restore service efficiently preferredEducation/Certifications:
