Position Title:
Information Technology Support Specialist (County Position)
Job Location:
Court Administration, Third Judicial Circuit, Live Oak Annual Salary:
$50,000.00 Successful candidate will be hired at the minimum salary.
EXAMPLES OF WORK PERFORMED
  • Provide Customer with advanced level desktop support including but not limited to OS imaging, hardware, software, mobile device deployment, troubleshooting, problem assessment, documentation, inventory, computer relocation, and internal applications support
  • Desktop support in a government setting
Windows Operating Systems Administration:
Windows 10, Windows 11 and Windows Server 2020 Advanced level desktop support including troubleshooting hardware, software in Windows Active Directory and domain structure environments Microsoft Office 365 Support Advanced level troubleshooting for PC in a switched environment Network wiring CAT5 and CAT6, troubleshooting, and installation Performs other duties as required This position works under the general supervision of the Court Technology Officer
OTHER JOB-RELATED REQUIREMENTS
Valid DL and possess operational private vehicle for use in performance of daily work activities. Occasionally working outside normal shift/business hours. Navigate tight spaces which may involve a combination of kneeling, crawling, bending, stooping and/or reaching. Ability to lift 30 lbs. and move equipment.
PREFERENCES
Experience in support of Apple and Android smartphones. Experience in creating and using Microsoft Powershell and batch scripts. Experience in creating and supporting automated deployments of software. Knowledge of VOIP products and support.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
  • Functional knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 systems
  • Knowledge of TCP/IP routing and switching
  • Cisco and NetGear network appliances i.e., switches, firewalls, wireless access
  • Advanced knowledge in OS imaging, remote support, Microsoft Office and various application packages
  • Advanced knowledge in troubleshooting Sharp, Dell/HP printers
  • Ability to troubleshoot and diagnose hardware and software issues on major manufacturer platforms Advanced knowledge of Remote Communications Technologies (Zoom, Teams, Real VNC, Etc.
) Advanced knowledge of Android/iOS smartphones and tablets Ability to manage virus protection across the domain Experience setting up and configuring PC's Knowledge of networking topology and concepts, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, WINS, and LAN/WAN, and desktop / server virtualization Microsoft Outlook setup and configuration Occasional need to work after normal business hours or weekends Good communication, time management, process management and organizational skills Ability to work in a dynamic environment, including effective multi-tasking, exercising patience and professionalism, and advancing on longer-term projects in parallel to ongoing daily business needs Attention to detail and patience for user questions Active Directory management and migrations Ability to support by phone and in person Network wiring CAT5 and CAT6, troubleshooting, and installation Ability to communicate technical data processing information effectively Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with others
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Associates degree in computer science with minimum 4 years experience or A+CompTIA, Network+ Microsoft
MCP/MCSA
certifications strongly preferred. Computer Desktop Support experience may substitute for the educational requirement .
