Automatic Gate Technician

Job Summary Job Overview Experience Required We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Gate Operator Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in various technical fields, including computer networking, mechanical knowledge, and field service. As an Automatic Gate Operator Technician , you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of Automatic Gate Operator systems and related technologies. Your expertise will ensure the safety and security of our clients' environments. Responsibilities Install, configure, and maintain Gate Operators Systems, including IP Camera Systems, Access Control, and other types of Systems. Liftmaster, Doorking, Viking, Hysecurity, Apollo, Max Controls, PDK, Avycon, Avigilon, Lenel S2, Mercury, Alarm.com Systems, Honeywell, Computer Networking. Perform regular inspections and troubleshooting of systems to ensure optimal performance. Utilize hand tools and power tools for installation and repairs of low voltage cabling and electrical components. Read and interpret schematics to effectively implement system designs. Provide field service support to clients, addressing any technical issues promptly. Collaborate with team members on construction projects involving security system installations. Maintain accurate records of service calls, installations, and repairs performed. Stay updated on industry standards such as NEC regulations and best practices in security technology. Skills Proficient in Computer Networking and Remote Access software, IP Camera Systems, Access Control Systems. Strong mechanical knowledge with experience in electrical systems. Familiarity with sensors, IDS (Intrusion Detection Systems), and telecommunication systems. Experience with Automatic Gate Systems and customer service is a plus. Ability to work with various hand tools and power tools safely and effectively. Knowledge of Gates principles is beneficial. Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with clients and team members. $20.38 - $25.16 per hour
