(https://talltimbers.org/) is recruiting a full-time IT Systems Specialist to assist with day-to-day operations in the Tall Timbers IT department. This position will be full time at our main campus in Tallahassee, FL. Tall Timbers Information Technology Department Mission Our mission is to build a quality and comprehensive technology infrastructure, establish and maintain an effective secure operational environment, and deliver quality, prompt, cost-effective, and reliable technology services that align with the mission of Tall Timbers as it relates to research, conservation and education. Position Responsibilities Manage daily activities of Tall Timbers Help Desk ensuring accurate, timely, and professional resolution of all supported issues Maintain campus AV systems and help train users on proper AV usage, including assisting with minor AV issues Effectively communicate technical issues with users and supervisors and contribute findings to knowledge portal Train users on technology best practices, including hardware and software Setup, installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of hardware and software on campus Setup mobile devices and wireless technology Assist IT Systems Coordinator with other duties as assigned Minimum Training and Experience Associates degree in related field (Bachelors degree preferred); experience equal to four years (

post-degree education may substitute for experience at the equivalent rate) Proven experience with troubleshooting, diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing a variety of computer and network equipment Proficiency with audiovisual equipment and best practices Ability to document and convey technical information to technical and non-technical users Strong working knowledge of Windows-based operating systems and servers The selected applicant will be employed by Tall Timbers and based out of Tall Timbers, Tallahassee, FL. This position will directly report to the IT Systems Coordinator. Salary range is $50,000 - $55,000 annually.
