Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Technical Support Specialist to join our dental laboratory team. This role is ideal for a dental assistant or chairside assistant who understands clinical workflows and is ready to transition into a lab-based, technical support position. You'll serve as a key liaison between dental practices and our lab technicians, helping ensure smooth case communication, accurate case intake, troubleshooting, and timely resolution of issues. Strong communication skills and a service mindset are just as important as clinical experience. Responsibilities Serve as the primary point of contact for dental offices regarding case status, specifications, and troubleshooting Interpret and clarify prescriptions, chairside notes, and digital case submissions Coordinate with dental technicians to resolve discrepancies in case details or workflow issues Provide phone and email support to dental offices in a professional and timely manner Assist in case intake, verification, and data entry into lab management systems Help guide dental offices on proper submission requirements and digital workflow best practices Track and follow up on cases to ensure on-time delivery and customer satisfaction Identify recurring issues and communicate trends to lab management for process improvement Skills Experience as a dental assistant or chairside assistant strongly preferred Familiarity with dental terminology and procedures Prior customer service or client support experience Strong communication skills—clear and professional with customers Comfortable working with dental lab management software High attention to detail and strong organizational skills Ability to manage multiple cases and priorities in a fast-paced environment Nice to Have Experience working with dental labs or in a dental office coordinating lab cases Problem-solving mindset with ability to de-escalate client concerns
