Role:
As a Technician , you will play an essential role in supporting large-scale technology deployment projects for K-12 schools and educational organizations. You will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing devices, preparing systems for deployment, maintaining accurate inventory records, and ensuring all equipment meets quality standards before shipment. We are looking for detail-oriented individuals who enjoy working with technology, can meet production goals, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Diagnose and troubleshoot hardware and software issues on laptops and related devices. Repair or replace defective components, including screens, housings, keyboards, batteries, and system boards. Perform operating system installations, software updates, and device configuration. Conduct testing and quality assurance checks to ensure devices meet company and customer standards. Scan devices and accurately apply asset tags and inventory labels. Unbox, process, and organize incoming computer equipment and technology assets. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
Qualifications:
Must be at least 18 years old. High School diploma or equivalent; experience in a related field is a plus. Basic computer skills, including data entry experience. Ability to lift 50+ lbs and stand for long periods. Ability to stand for longer periods of time Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Capable of performing repetitive tasks, such as scanning and stocking inventory. Able to pass a background check and have the legal right to work in the U.S. Flexibility in tasks and willingness to work in a fast-paced environment.
Schedule:
8-hour shift Monday to Friday 8AM - 4:30PM Weekends as needed
Compensation:
Competitive hourly wage of $17 per hour
