Job Description Insight Global is seeking a Application Support Engineer to support a mission-critical Customer Portal within their Commerce organization. This portal is heavily used daily by external customers to manage accounts, payments, product purchases, and service requests. You will support a highly customized Java + Oracle Commerce (ATG) platform. Technical Environment
Backend:
Java (heavily customized)
Commerce Platform:
Oracle ATG (Oracle Commerce)
App Server:
Oracle WebLogic (Tomcat/Apache exposure helpful)
Database:
Oracle + MySQL (basic SQL troubleshooting required)
OS:
Unix/Linux
Cloud:
Oracle OCI (primary), exposure to AWS/Azure helpful
DevOps Tools:
Jenkins, Git, Docker, Kubernetes (preferred)
Hourly Pay:

- 3+ years in Application Support / Production Support / DevOps
- Strong experience with: o Java-based applications o Oracle ATG / Oracle Commerce o WebLogic or similar app servers
- Ability to: o Write simple SQL queries for troubleshooting o Navigate Unix/Linux environments
- Understanding of Oracle ecosystem + environments
- Strong problem-solving + ability to handle urgent, real-time issues
- Strong communication (tech + business stakeholders)
- Experience supporting customer-facing portals
- Performance tuning / optimization exposure
- Knowledge of ITIL processes
- Agile/Scrum experience
