Job Description
Description Our client is seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Senior IT Support Specialist to join our dynamic IT team. This role serves as a Tier 2-3 technical support resource, addressing complex user issues and ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of hardware, software, and network systems. The ideal candidate will have strong troubleshooting abilities, exceptional communication skills, and a passion for delivering exceptional service. Key Responsibilities Tier 2-3
Technical Support:
Provide advanced troubleshooting and resolution for escalated hardware, software, and network issues.Problem Resolution:
Diagnose and resolve system problems; escalate unresolved issues to appropriate vendors or higher-tier support when necessary.System Maintenance:
Monitor and maintain computer systems, peripherals, and IT infrastructure to ensure peak performance.User Account Management:
Onboard new users, manage permissions, and resolve IT access requests efficiently.User Training:
Educate users on best practices in hardware, software, and system usage to promote self-sufficiency.Service Optimization:
Contribute to the continual improvement of service delivery standards and operational efficiency.Inventory Oversight:
Maintain accurate records of IT equipment and software licenses.After-Hours Support:
Provide support outside of regular business hours, as required by team schedules or urgent needs. Required Qualifications Proficient in diagnosing and resolving issues related to Windows OS, Microsoft Office Suite, networking, and hardware. Experience working with electronic help desk/ticketing systems. Strong written and verbal communication skills with a focus on user satisfaction. Excellent customer service orientation with the ability to build effective working relationships. Preferred Qualifications Associate's degree or equivalent technical training in Information Technology or a related field. Certifications such as CompTIA A+,Microsoft Certified:
Modern Desktop Administrator Associate, or Cisco CCNA are a plus. - May supervise IT staff and contribute to performance development
