is seeking a Sr. Deskside Support Specialist to join us.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Serve as a technical lead for deskside IT support, resolving complex hardware, software, and network issues for deployed CDC personnel. Oversee the configuration and maintenance of deployable LAN kits, RAID-enabled scientific workstations, and other emergency response equipment. Coordinate IT asset management, ensuring compliance with CDC property management procedures during installations, moves, and emergency deployments. Provide mentorship to junior specialists, guiding troubleshooting efforts and ensuring adherence to CDC IT support protocols. Collaborate with the Emergency Preparedness team during high-pressure events, ensuring IT systems remain operational and responsive to emergent needs.
Qualifications Education and Years of Experience:
Bachelor of Science in Information Technology or other related field 2-4 Years of Experience in
Deskside Support Required and Desired Skills/Certifications:
ITIL Preferred Min Citizenship Status Required:
