Job Description

Apollo Technical has an immediate need for a RemoteWastewater Engineer Job Summary Are you a proactive engineer who thrives on autonomy and high-impact projects? We are looking for a self-starter with a bias for action to join our team. This role is designed for someone who excels at navigating complex water and wastewater infrastructure challenges while collaborating with diverse client teams. At our firm, you aren't just a "cog in the machine." You will have considerable latitude for independent judgment and full business support to drive program objectives that deliver real value to commercial, industrial, and municipal clients.
Key Responsibilities Portfolio Management:
Lead infrastructure programs from inception to completion, leveraging your expertise to enhance client business value.
Project Facilitation:
Scope and manage engineering studies and research projects that inform strategic company and client goals.
End-to-End Execution:
Prepare contracts, develop cost and schedule estimates (ROM), secure permits, and manage landowner/purveyor relationships.
Cross-Functional Leadership:
Provide the tools and insights necessary to guide varied client teams through all phases of the infrastructure lifecycle.
Digital Integration:
Collaborate with stakeholders to organize data and analytics that support the ongoing development of our proprietary SaaS tools .
Risk Management:
Proactively "preposition" projects for success by identifying and mitigating risks during the planning phase.
Growth Support:
Assist with marketing efforts and technical business development as needed.
Qualifications Education:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical field.
Experience:
5+ years of relevant experience in water/wastewater infrastructure. Licensure (Required): Candidates must hold one of the following: Professional Engineer (PE) License , OR Class 2 (or higher) Wastewater Operator License (capable of serving populations of 10,000+).
Technical Savvy:
Proficiency in industry-standard software and a mindset geared toward data-driven solutions.
Soft Skills:
Strong organizational skills and the ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. We value an entrepreneurial spirit and "out-of-the-box" thinking as much as technical depth.
Total Compensation & Benefits Total Rewards Package:
$100,000 - $150,000 annually This figure includes base salary, median retirement contributions, and employer-paid health benefits. Actual totals vary based on individual enrollment choices.
