Long Term Contract Position Summary The Network & Help Desk Engineer is responsible for maintaining, supporting, and optimizing the organization s IT infrastructure, including virtualization platforms, backup solutions, endpoint management systems, and network services. This role ensures high availability, security, and performance of IT systems while providing Tier 2/3 support to end users. SCCM, Nutanix, Veeam Key Responsibilities:
Networking Manage and support LAN/WAN infrastructure Configure and troubleshoot network devices (routers, switches, firewalls) Monitor network performance and resolve connectivity issues Manage VLANs, DHCP, DNS, VPNs, and network security controls Help Desk & Support Provide Tier 2/3 technical support for users and IT systems Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network-related issues Manage IT tickets, incidents, and service requests within SLA Support end-user computing (Windows OS, applications, devices) Technical Skills Required Nutanix HCI (AHV, Prism) Veeam Backup & Replication (backup, restore, DR) Microsoft SCCM / MECM
