Level 3 Desktop Support Engineer (System Administrator, Networking & Nutanix). Nutanix is nice to have Position Summary Level 3 Desktop Support Engineer is responsible for maintaining, supporting, and optimizing the organization s IT infrastructure, including virtualization platforms, backup solutions, endpoint management systems, and network services. This role ensures high availability, security, and performance of IT systems while providing Tier 2/3 support to end users. Key Responsibilities System Administration Administer and maintain enterprise IT infrastructure, including servers, virtualization, and storage systems Manage and support Nutanix hyperconverged infrastructure (HCI) environments Perform system monitoring, patch management, upgrades, and performance tuning Ensure system security, compliance, and adherence to IT policies Backup & Disaster Recovery Manage and support Veeam Backup & Replication solutions Configure and monitor backup jobs, replication, and recovery processes Perform regular backup validation and test restores Develop and maintain disaster recovery (DR) procedures and documentation Endpoint Management (SCCM / MECM) Administer Microsoft SCCM (Endpoint Configuration Manager) Deploy applications, patches, and updates via Software Centre Troubleshoot SCCM deployment failures and client issues Manage OS deployments, task sequences, and software packaging Networking Manage and support LAN/WAN infrastructure Configure and troubleshoot network devices (routers, switches, firewalls) Monitor network performance and resolve connectivity issues Manage VLANs, DHCP, DNS, VPNs, and network security controls Help Desk & Support Provide Tier 2/3 technical support for users and IT systems Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network-related issues Manage IT tickets, incidents, and service requests within SLA Support end-user computing (Windows OS, applications, devices) Technical Skills Required Nutanix HCI (AHV, Prism) Veeam Backup & Replication (backup, restore, DR) Microsoft
SCCM / MECM
