Contract Role Overview The IT Site Administrator is responsible for resolving client issues and assisting with their IT needs in a warehouse and manufacturing environment. This role serves as a primary point of contact for end-users, requiring a high degree of professionalism and a sense of urgency. The position involves providing day-to-day floor support, stabilizing operations, and offloading the workload from the current IT resource. This is a full-time, 100% onsite role supporting multiple sites and business lines. Key Responsibilities Provide onsite IT support for warehouse and manufacturing operations, including endpoint support, network/Wi-Fi troubleshooting, and ticket triage. Resolve break/fix tickets in accordance with defined Service Level Agreements (SLAs). Support, troubleshoot, and maintain Operational Technology (OT) equipment such as RF scanners, label printers, and other warehouse devices. Manage user-related tasks including new setups, moves, and changes. Maintain an accurate inventory of IT and OT devices. Escalate network issues and coordinate with corporate IT teams for higher-level changes and support. Develop and update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for IT processes. Provide executive-level support as needed, comprising approximately 50% of the work week.Required Qualifications Education:
An Associate's degree or equivalent professional experience is required.Experience:
A minimum of two years of hands-on IT support experience within a warehouse or manufacturing environment is required. Experience must include PC, network, and/or telephony support.Technical Skills:
CompTIA A+ and/or Network+ certification. Strong networking fundamentals, including LAN, switches, and Wi-Fi troubleshooting. Proficiency in Windows endpoint support, including imaging, patching, driver management, and peripheral support (printers/scanners). Extensive knowledge of computer hardware and common desktop software such as the MS Office suite. Preferred Qualifications Experience with RF scanners and label printers (e.g., Zebra, Honeywell) in a warehouse setting. Basic familiarity with Linux operating systems. Scripting or automation skills for tasks like imaging or log collection, particularly with PowerShell. Compensation The anticipated pay rate for this position is $25-30.00 per hour.
