Tech Support Specialist

Vanguard Appraisals Inc., a Cedar Rapids, Iowa-based mass appraisal company, is seeking a Tech Support Specialist. Our flagship CAMAvision® product has been developed specifically to operate in the assessor's environment. This software is flexible, efficient, and accurate to be the system of choice by assessors. It is the only CAMA software system developed in conjunction with a Mass Appraisal Manual awarded the "Distinguished Research and Development Award" by the International Association of Assessing Officers.

The ideal candidate would have:

Handling customer technical support cases through phone and email submission Evaluating system potential through assessing compatibility of new programs with existing programs Maintaining system functionality by testing computer components Preparing reference material for users by drafting operation instructions Excellent problem solving and analytical skills Basic Windows knowledge of functions, such as file explorer, navigating Windows Operating system, and basic commands. Must have good verbal & written communication skills.
