Retail IT Hardware Specialist 1

This role is responsible for managing hardware requests, tracking IT assets, and supporting the full lifecycle of retail technology equipment through shipping, receiving, returns processing, and warehouse organization. The ideal candidate enjoys hands-on work, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and takes pride in delivering reliable support to both internal teams and store operations.

Location/Schedule:

This role is based onsite Monday through Friday at our Des Moines, Iowa office.

Position Summary & Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

Support store and vendor hardware requests through assigned ServiceNow tickets Track and maintain Retail IT hardware assets within the ServiceNow asset management system Monitor shipping and return queues to ensure timely processing and communication updates Receive, sort, and process inbound and returned hardware shipments Organize and maintain warehouse inventory, including QA, refurbishing, and disposal areas Operate warehouse equipment safely while supporting production, organization, and safety standards You'll be a great fit for this adventure if you have: 1+ years of experience in IT hardware support, warehouse operations, inventory management, or a related field Experience working in fast-paced environments while managing multiple priorities and deadlines Strong attention to detail with the ability to accurately track assets, inventory, and service requests A customer-focused mindset with the ability to anticipate needs and provide dependable support The ability to identify process improvements, solve problems proactively, and adapt to changing business needs The Maverik Spirit - you're a clear communicator, team player, and problem-solver who thrives in a fast-paced environment. Bonus points if you also bring: Experience using ServiceNow or similar ticketing and asset management systems Familiarity with inventory control, shipping/receiving, or warehouse logistics processes A degree in Information Technology, Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related field

Compensation & Benefits Pay Range:

$18.50/hr - $22.00/hr + DOE and Bonus Opportunities The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Maverik considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers, such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills, and current market conditions.
