As a Quality Assurance Specialist III, you will play a key role in ensuring the quality and reliability of applications and systems across the organization. You will collaborate with business and technology teams to design and execute testing strategies, support acceptance testing, and continuously improve quality assurance processes. We are looking for someone who is detail-oriented, curious, and passionate about delivering high-quality solutions while working in a collaborative and inclusive environment.What You'll Do:
Plan, design, and execute manual and automated testing for applications and system changes Define test objectives and coordinate testing efforts with cross-functional teams Support business partners in organizing and facilitating acceptance testing Track and communicate testing progress through agile ceremonies (e.g., daily scrums) Document testing activities to support audit and compliance requirements Identify opportunities to improve testing processes and contribute to implementation of enhancements Participate in reviews, walkthroughs, and validation of testing results Provide guidance and documentation to support end users Follow established change management and problem management processes Contribute to a collaborative, inclusive, and team-oriented environmentWhat You'll Bring:
Education High school diploma or equivalent required Associate's or bachelor's degree in Computer Systems, MIS, or a related field preferred Experience Relevant experience in quality assurance (years of experience may vary based on education and background) Experience with software testing methodologies, including manual and automated testing Experience working in Agile environments preferred Experience in life insurance or financial services is a plus, but not required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Attention to detail and commitment to accuracy Understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and quality assurance concepts Experience creating and executing test plans and test cases Familiarity with automated testing tools and methodologies Ability to translate technical requirements into effective testing strategies Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across teams Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools Commitment to continuous learning and improvementPhysical Requirements:
Ability to sit for extended periods while working at a computer Occasional standing, walking, and light lifting (up to 20 lbs.) Use of hands for typing and fine manipulation Ability to communicate effectively in a professional environmentWhere You'll Work:
