Contract (W2) Overview This is a hands-on, field-based IT support role supporting multiple sites across the Treasure Valley. If you enjoy solving real-world technical problems, working directly with end users, and being on the move rather than behind a desk, this opportunity offers strong visibility and fast hiring timelines. What You'll Do Provide Tier 2 support for end-user computing issues across desktop, telecom, and network environments Troubleshoot hardware, software, and connectivity issues both remotely and onsite Perform maintenance, upgrades, and installations for IT equipment and infrastructure Respond to escalated issues, diagnose root causes, and implement effective solutions Collaborate with engineering, systems, and infrastructure teams to resolve complex problems Document all support activity accurately within ticketing systems Recommend improvements to reduce recurring technical issues and enhance user experience What You Bring 1+ year of hands-on IT support experience (desktop, helpdesk, or field services) Working knowledge of hardware, operating systems, networking basics, and troubleshooting methodologies Strong communication skills with a customer-first mindset Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, multi-site environment Valid driver's license and reliable personal vehicle (mileage reimbursed) Additional Details Travel required across multiple locations within the Treasure Valley Occasional overnight travel may be needed Fast interview process: single onsite panel This role is ideal for someone early in their IT career who wants to build broad technical exposure while working in a dynamic, field-driven environment.Similar remote jobs
