This role is critical in diagnosing refrigeration system issues, delivering timely solutions, and ensuring optimal system performance across commercial and/or industrial applications. Key Responsibilities Provide technical support for refrigeration systems via phone, email, and remote tools Diagnose system issues including compressors, evaporators, condensers, controls, and refrigerants Assist field technicians with troubleshooting and repair procedures Interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals Document customer interactions, solutions, and recurring issues Collaborate with engineering and product teams to resolve complex problems Support product training and technical documentation development Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations Required Qualifications 5+ years of experience in refrigeration, HVAC, or related technical field Strong knowledge of refrigeration cycles and system components Experience with commercial or industrial refrigeration systems Ability to read and interpret technical diagrams and manuals Excellent problem-solving and communication skills Proficiency with Microsoft Office and service management software Preferred Qualifications EPA Certification (or equivalent) Experience with, freon, CO₂, ammonia, or other advanced refrigeration systems Background in technical support or field service roles Familiarity with IoT or remote monitoring systems Key Skills Troubleshooting & diagnostics Customer support & communication Technical documentation Time management and organization Benefits Full-time employees are eligible for a comprehensive benefits package that includes: Medical, dental, and vision insurance 401(k) retirement plan Paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) Short-term and long-term disability coverage Employee Assistance Program About EKS Thermal Systems EKS Thermal Systems designs and manufactures engineered systems supporting commercial and industrial refrigeration applications.
