Come Join Our Team at DC Engineering as a Controls System Integrator! DC Engineering is seeking a skilled and motivated Controls System Integrator to join our dynamic team! In this role, you'll collaborate with a talented group of Engineers, System Integrators, Programmers, and Panel Builders to deliver innovative and high-quality automation solutions. What You'll Do Serve as a key system integrator on diverse projects, from concept to completion. Program advanced PLC (Programmable Logic Controllers) and HMI (Human Machine Interfaces) . Apply your understanding of physical systems to ensure optimal control and functionality. Troubleshoot complex systems, test I/O, and verify system performance with precision. Work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment. Serve as the primary technical point of contact for system integration efforts. Coordinate across internal engineering teams, external consultants, vendors, and business stakeholders. What We're Looking For Proven experience in control systems integration. Strong knowledge of PLC and HMI programming. Ability to work with minimal supervision and manage multiple priorities. High-level competency in system troubleshooting and validation. Excellent communication and problem-solving skills. Ability to travel, average 10-15% typical, but dependent on specific projects. Minimum of 5 years of experience in control system integration. Proven experience working on projects independently. Strong understanding of how physical equipment (pumps, valves, instrumentation) should function as a cohesive system. Experience with PLCs and control system user interfaces. Ability to work effectively in a team environment. Ability to travel to job sites. Approximately 10-15% maximum travel is typical, but dependent on specific projects. Ability to work in the field on job sites doing control system start-ups or trouble shooting.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with Water/Wastewater systems and/or food processing. Engineering degree or Control System Technician certification.
